The third season of the DLF IPL awards ended on Sunday. However, it was not without the Bollywood celebrities performing live in front of a packed D.Y. Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. It was a treat the live audience will remember for days to come. Bipasha Basu in full black gave a performance on a specially recorded song for the IPL. Shahid Kapoor too left no stone unturned to get the due for what the thousands of people in the stadium had paid for.
However, it was the Mozart from India – A. R. Rehman who stole the show with a song from his Oscar winning film Slumdog Millionaire and it has to be ‘Jai ho’. Rehman was standing on a moving vehicle and moved all with ‘Vande Mataram’. The spectators will not forget the event so soon.
