She might very well be an important figure of the movie, but Katrina feels that the movie has a cruel topic. The story is far from what one sees on the promos. Even though this is a political flick, it is different from other politics based movies as ‘Rajneeti’ has a personal side to the story too. All sorts of emotions can be seen in the film, says Katrina.
The promos might have prompted one to believe that her character is encouraged by that of Sonia Gandhi. However, the fact is that Kat had seen many video footages of election campaigning of Priyanka Gandhi. It was Priyanka, whom Katrina had studied to get the looks and the body language right.
