It has been a general trend for ages now. Whenever a there is any new beauty queen, be it Indian or a foreign, there is a specific ‘ritual’ that they perform. Now these ‘rituals’ include things that have to do with constructive work in the society or visiting orphanages etc.
The new Miss India World 2010 is also no exception to this rule. After being crowned the Miss India World 2010, Manasvi Mamgai was in Haridwar on Sunday. Haridwar is considered a holy place for the Hindus. Manasvi performed Ganga Puja on Sunday. Now, having won the title only is not going to be enough. Actually, everything starts after having a title under one’s belt.
