Learning Urdu For The Sake Of A Film

Bipasha is playing a Kashmiri Muslim girl in her next flick. The film titled ‘Lamhaa’ has Bips speaking in Urdu. Film buffs would know that when Bipasha featured in a Bengali film – ‘Sob Charitro Kalponik’, which was directed by Rituparno Ghosh. Bengali being the mother tongue of Bipasha, the director stopped her from dubbing her own lines.

This time around, Bipasha is a changed personality. She wants her lines to be dubbed by her own self. Moreover, for the very same reason, she is trying to get command over Urdu, which she needs to converse in during the movie. The responsibility to see how Bipasha performs is on Rahul Dholakia.
